How mature is my
marketing, really?
One honest question. Six dimensions, four stages — pick what sounds like you, and it resolves into a Mark.
Who are we looking at?
A name makes it yours; the choices shape the reading — and carry into every other engine.
First, the thinking half.
For each dimension, pick the statement that sounds most like you today. Honesty beats aspiration — the Mark can only be as true as the answers.
Now, the performing half.
Same rule — the statement that describes today, not the one you're building toward.
What does your gut say?
We'll hold this against what the model shows — the gap is where the insight lives.
Marketing Maturity is Engine 0 — the one you run before any number matters. It answers one question: is marketing in your business a system that compounds, or a set of activities that happen to occur. It reads six dimensions — how marketing thinks (strategy, audience, measurement) and how it performs (acquisition, conversion, revenue) — and places each on a four-stage model: Ad-hoc, Reactive, Systematic, Compounding.
Unlike the other engines, nothing here is held against a market benchmark. The model is the measure — your answers place you on it directly. What the Mark does tell you is which dimension to go deeper on first, and which engine answers that question with real numbers. That's the point of a gateway: it doesn't score your marketing; it routes it.
