Comparison
HubSpot runs your marketing. Micromark tells you whether it is working.
A suite is built to do things — email, CRM, landing pages, workflows. A diagnostic is built to answer one question honestly. You will probably keep both.
Side by side
| Dimension | Micromark | HubSpot |
|---|---|---|
| What it gives you | One written verdict — a Mark — answering a single strategic question. | An operating system for marketing: CRM, email, landing pages, automation, reporting. |
| The question it answers | “Is this working, and what do I do about it?” | “How do I run and track my marketing programmes?” |
| Shape of the product | Focused engines. One question each, one answer each. | A suite. Many tools, many dashboards, configured to fit. |
| Benchmarks | Built in — held against your stage, industry, geography and motion. | Available in reports and industry studies; not a per-metric verdict. |
| Time to an answer | About two minutes, from cold start. | Depends on setup, data hygiene, and how your reports are built. |
| Cost of being wrong | You disagree with one verdict and move on. | Migration, retraining, and contract length. |
When each one makes sense
When you need to actually operate: send the campaigns, hold the contact records, build the landing pages, automate the follow-up. HubSpot is genuinely good at this, and Micromark does none of it. If you need a marketing system of record, you need a suite.
When the suite is running and you still cannot answer the simple question underneath it. Dashboards tell you a number went up. They rarely tell you whether the number is good for a company your size, in your market, selling the way you sell — or which of the four things you could fix actually matters most.
This is not a migration argument
Micromark holds no contacts, sends no email, and stores no CRM records. There is nothing to move off HubSpot, because Micromark was never trying to be where your marketing lives. It reads a handful of numbers you already track and returns a verdict. Keep the suite; add the second opinion.
Questions people ask
Is Micromark a HubSpot replacement?
No, and it is not designed to be. HubSpot is an operating suite — CRM, email, automation, landing pages. Micromark holds none of that. It is a diagnostic layer that answers one strategic question at a time and returns a written verdict.
Does Micromark integrate with HubSpot?
Not currently. Micromark asks you directly for the few numbers a given question needs, rather than ingesting your CRM. That keeps the answer fast and keeps your customer data where it already is.
Why would I use both?
Because they do different jobs. HubSpot tells you what your marketing did. Micromark tells you whether what it did was good, measured against companies at your stage and in your industry, and what to change first.
Is Micromark cheaper than HubSpot?
Micromark is currently in beta and free to use. Beyond that, the comparison is not really like-for-like: you are not choosing between them, because they are not doing the same job.
Start where the suite is quietest
How mature is my marketing, really?
Marketing Maturity reads the whole system in six dimensions and routes you to the weakest one.
